Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Analysis Engineer or Sr Principal Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. This role will involve performing static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct structural analyses to ensure designs meet program requirements and are optimized for schedule and budget objectives.
  • Derive non-flight applied loads, create, extract, and distribute internal loads, and perform weight and stiffness optimization.
  • Collaborate with a team environment, prioritize tasks, and develop solutions to complex problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years' experience in aerospace structural analysis, or Master's degree with 3 years' experience.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to start of employment.
  • Preferred qualifications include crew systems structural analysis experience and active DoD secret clearance.

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $92,600 - $139,000, with opportunities for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
