Job Summary:

As a Child Psychologist in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), you will provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services for children and their families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychological testing and evaluation, to diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches to promote positive change and growth.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, social workers, and counselors, to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
  • Participate in staff conferences and meetings to discuss patient progress, share knowledge, and enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and industry developments, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • California Psychologist License (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
  • Experience working with children and families, preferably in an outpatient or IOP setting.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
