Key Responsibilities- Lead the Evening Nursing Team: Provide high-quality care, promote resident well-being, and exceed expectations.
- Develop Leadership Skills: Provide direction, mentorship, and support for staff while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Ensure Operational Efficiency: Oversee the evening shift's operations, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal resident care delivery.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing: Facilitate the interdisciplinary care team and coordinate resident care across the facility.
- Manage Clinical Staff: Provide direct oversight and management of clinical staff on your assigned evening unit.
- Develop and Implement Plans: Ensure exceptional resident care, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Foster a Positive Work Environment: Promote a positive and collaborative work environment for your evening nursing team.
- Respond to Emergencies: Ensure resident and staff safety.
- Address Resident and Family Concerns: Promote open communication and a positive experience.
- An Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) or a higher degree (required).
- A clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia (required).
- One or more years of nursing experience (required).
- Prior experience in long-term care nursing (strongly preferred).
- Clinical leadership experience in another healthcare setting (also strongly preferred).
- Strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to resident-centered care.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.
Abercorn Rehabilitation Center is a 100-bed, joint commission-approved center that offers in-patient residential care, short-term rehabilitation, and specialty services. Our property features private and semi-private rooms, landscaped grounds, 7-day-per-week admissions, residential activities, and a rehabilitation gym with in-patient and out-patient therapy.
