Job Overview:

As a Respiratory Therapist at South Arkansas Regional Hospital, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients. You will assess patients' cardiopulmonary systems, develop effective treatment plans, and provide education and technical direction to medical and nursing staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' cardiopulmonary systems and develop effective treatment plans
  • Consult with physicians to ensure optimal patient care
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol modalities, and incentive spirometry
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and pulse oximetry
  • Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on cardiopulmonary equipment

Requirements:

  • Current Arkansas Respiratory Therapist License
  • 2 years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment (desirable)
  • CRT or RRT certification; PALS/NALS /ACLS Certification (preferred)
