CRNA Nurse Anesthetist Lead Oshkosh/FDL

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CRNA to lead our team of advanced practice clinicians in Oshkosh/FDL. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing clinical guidance, mentoring, and training to our APCs, as well as participating in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of employees.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to APCs, including training, orienting, and onboarding
- Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of employees
- Develop and maintain orientation plans, work improvement plans, clinical competencies, and communication tools
- Collaborate with professional and ancillary staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Act as liaison for communication between ancillary departments and participate in meetings/updates with Coding and Billing, Compliance, Pharmacy, and other specialties
- Assist in program development by participating in practice goal setting, new program/service development/deployment, resource allocation, and community outreach
- Coordinate education for APCs related to specialty practice changes and updates
- Provide anesthesia services, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care to patients
- Perform pre-anesthesia functions, including determining patient readiness for anesthesia and checking equipment
- Perform post-anesthesia duties, including remaining with patients until safe transfer of care and advising personnel of specific problems
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices
- Nurse Anesthetist certification (CRNA) issued by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
- Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license issued by the state of Wisconsin
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration issued by the DEA
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association/American Academy of Pediatrics
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Typically requires 3 years of experience in providing and coordinating care for patients with acute, critical, and/or chronic health conditions as a nurse anesthetist or in a leadership capacity
- Must have functional vision and hearing
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs. over the head, and carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance
- Must be able to push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present
- Will be required to use foot pedals on carts or machines
- Will be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical, radiation, blood, and body fluids
