Quality Assurance RN Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance RN to join our team at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. As a Quality Assurance RN, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care and improving clinical performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Abstract, analyze, and report data to support clinical performance improvement activities and peer review.
  • Initiate clinical care quality improvement and performance monitoring in collaboration with department staff, leadership, and providers.
  • Work with the Medical, Nursing, and Ancillary teams to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in applicable measure outcome committees to drive quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
  • Current Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a hospital or physician practice environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Data abstraction experience.
  • Electronic medical records experience.
  • Software applications experience, including Word Processing and Excel.
  • Research and statistics experience.
