Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to provide quality assurance/control engineering services in support of the Tank Farm Operating Contract activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the QA Management System (QMS) and ensuring the TOC QMS effectively implements DOE 414.1, 10 CFR 830 Subpart A, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) NQA-1, and other contract commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain procedures, training material, desktop guides, and other implementing tools.
  • Manage the WRPS Nonconformance Reporting (NCR) process in accordance with NQA-1 Part I Basic Requirement 15.
  • Assist with the deployment and maintenance of NCR tracking databases such as the integrated Contractor Assurance System (iCAS).
  • Provide leadership for quality assurance and quality control support on assigned programs and/or areas to ensure that products are designed, procured, and installed in accordance with customer and company quality requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
  • 9-12 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Previous experience in DOE O 414, ASME NQA-1, and HASQARD is highly desirable.
