Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Heritage Trails Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of resident care and supporting our staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate residents' conditions and develop personalized OT rehabilitation plans to improve their mobility and independence.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support residents through their recovery journey.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of compassion, respect, and open communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to enhance your skills and knowledge as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Requirements:

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing with the state.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working as a COTA, with a strong background in geriatric care.
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
