As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our talented healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist surgeons with procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques and adhering to universal protocols.
- Coordinate treatments with other disciplines, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Provide basic patient assistance, connecting patients to clinical equipment as needed.
- Prepare and verify all specimens obtained during surgical procedures.
- Dispose of linens, needles, and sharps in designated containers.
- Assess wounds and apply or change sterile dressings as instructed by registered nurses.
- Maintain and document universal precautions, adhering to all policies and protocols.
- Participate in on-call rotations, acting as a preceptor for students assigned to the surgical unit.
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program.
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience (preferred).
- Competitive pay rates.
- Up to $5/hr shift differential for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
