Job Summary

West Fraser is a leading wood products company seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues
  • Install, replace, and repair equipment, parts, and accessories
  • Operate various mechanical and electronic test equipment
  • Work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime as scheduled or required
Requirements
  • Minimum High School or GED required
  • Experience with precision alignment of motors, couplings, bearings, and pumps required
  • Experience troubleshooting issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors required
  • Experience reading blueprints required
  • Three (3) years or more of experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment required
  • Eligible to legally work in the United States without employer sponsorship
