Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our team at Recon Management Services INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving mechanical reliability improvement processes for assigned operating units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop subject matter expertise to provide direct support to Maintenance and Operations in driving unit reliability and operational availability.
  • Provide and facilitate timely and thorough recommendations on short-term issues.
  • Drive long-term reliability improvements.
  • Develop overhaul scope for critical equipment.
  • Maximize reliability while minimizing maintenance costs for very high and high criticality equipment, bad actors, and repeat failure equipment.
  • Adhere to the Mechanical Reliability budget.
  • Conduct thorough Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on very high and high criticality equipment failures, bad actor failures, and unique repeat failures.
  • Perform weekly and daily audits of notifications on very high and high criticality equipment failures, bad actor failures, and repeat failures.
  • Ensure units maintain Mechanical Reliability Mechanical Integrity compliance through clear communication.
Requirements
  • Fixed and rotating equipment experience is preferred.
