Engineering Position

We are looking for a skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team in Dallas or Fort Worth. This role offers flexible work options, including remote and hybrid opportunities, to accommodate diverse working preferences and promote work-life balance.

As a Civil Project Engineer at Olsson, you will apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and related fields. You will supervise, coordinate, and review work of engineers or technicians and perform complex or novel assignments that require development of new and improved techniques and procedures.

Key Duties:

  1. Prepare and manage planning and design documents in the appropriate engineering discipline.
  2. Conduct process design calculations, prepare and analyze cost estimates, and utilize economic analyses for comparison of alternatives.
  3. Collaborate with project managers to develop project scope, schedule, and initiate paperwork.
  4. Oversee and coordinate projects with other Olsson teams, ensuring design aspects align with project requirements.
  5. Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex project challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • At least 6 years of relevant Civil Engineering experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer certification.
  • Familiarity with site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, and other related areas.
  • Proficient in Civil 3d software.

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
