Join HotRun Inc. as a Process Engineer and take on a challenging role in our consumer packaging manufacturing team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities related to production and quality of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the mold setup process in extrusion
  • Manage tool work, including repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Develop and implement new tool IQ, OQ, and PQ processes
  • Plan and direct tool repair and changeover operations to minimize downtime and optimize product quality
  • Initiate plans to improve cycle times and repair tooling damage
  • Support production and product standards to exceed customer expectations
  • Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure facility support for strategic initiatives
  • Establish group and individual accountabilities for problem-solving and cost reduction
  • Encourage the use of new techniques and focus on fact-based problem-solving
  • Manage spending against budget
  • Establish management practices throughout assigned areas, including employee involvement and constructive input
  • Continuously improve safety records by addressing physical and employee safety issues
  • Maintain individual skills and stay up-to-date with latest process technologies and molding platforms
  • Ensure planned KPIs for efficiency and performance are met or exceeded
  • Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through change management and best practices
  • Work with managers to implement company policies and goals
  • Ensure coaching and development of resources to meet business objectives
  • Manage adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure first-pass quality meets or exceeds planned goals
Requirements:
  • Professional with at least 2 years' experience in extrusion processes
  • Well-developed managerial, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills, detail-oriented, and effective prioritization
  • Motivates team to work together efficiently and manages innovative change effectively
  • Ability to work in a high-paced and multi-task environment
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, directing, coaching, rewarding, and disciplining direct reports
  • Addresses employee inquiries, complaints, and resolves problems using appropriate resources
  • Consistently demonstrates leadership initiatives, including understanding the business, listening to employees, engaging employees, attracting and developing the right people, and delivering results
  • Demonstrates PC skills, including MS Project, Outlook, and MS Office
  • Understands and practices Lean/6 Sigma principles
