Research Analyst

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join our team in the Department of Family & Community Medicine. This is a 75% hybrid remote/onsite position located in San Francisco, with some travel within California required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide research and administrative support to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Maternal Child Adolescent Health Division (MCAH)-funded Maternal Infant Health Assessment (MIHA) project.
- Assist in the development, production, review, and finalization of MIHA survey materials.
- Conduct critically reviewed and summarized research information and published literature related to maternal and child health.
- Support day-to-day operations of MIHA, including scheduling and documenting project-related meetings, utilizing project management software, tracking deliverables, coordinating travel, maintaining websites, and reimbursements.
- Provide assistance with technical aspects of survey design and data collection, as needed.
- Prepare and disseminate MIHA results via data tables, graphs, figures, PowerPoint slides, issue briefs, and written reports.
- Collaborate with staff and faculty at various professional levels within the Center for Health Equity and with outside collaborators, including program and epidemiology staff at CDPH/MCAH, and subcontractors, and community organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/training.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Working knowledge of research function.
- Skills to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing.
- Master's degree in public health, health administration.
- Working skills in SAS, Qualtrics, Sharepoint, systems programming, database design, and data security measures.
- Working skills in analysis and consultation.
- Proven ability to translate documents from English to Spanish and vice versa.
- Working skills in editing website content.
- Skills with using Constant Contact, Smartsheet, and other project communication software.
