The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Finance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our research administration department, you will be responsible for providing post-award administration for several active Principal Investigators in the Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics.
Key Responsibilities- Manage high volume and complex transactions, including financial analysis and customized reporting.
- Provide advisory and transactional services in all areas of post-award administration.
- Review and guide others in the review of financial and administrative management requirements of research contract and grant proposals, awards, and transactions.
- Maintain knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply sponsor, institutional, and departmental policies.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in research administration.
- Advanced knowledge of contracts and grants concepts, including financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and external partners.
