Role Overview

As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will exemplify our commitment to engaging, listening to, and guiding customers towards the right products. Collaborating closely with the Store Manager, you will lead, develop, and inspire the team to enhance the customer experience, creating exceptional and inclusive interactions that contribute to our overall business success.

In this full-time on-site role, which includes some weekend work, you will provide operational, administrative, and leadership support within the store while upholding Aesop's high standards. This position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to cultivate transferable people management skills, build external stakeholder relationships, and influence a team in a high-performing environment.

What We Seek

  • Experience in a leadership role or similar within a customer-centric environment.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and the ability to drive commercial results.
  • Capability to consistently introduce Aesop products to clients through engaging demonstrations.
  • Proven history of participating in, contributing to, and leading a team, fostering an inclusive and psychologically safe workplace.
  • Ability to utilize empathy to manage interpersonal relationships effectively.
  • An open mindset and a deep curiosity to understand others, listen without judgment, and act on diverse perspectives.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and merchandising abilities.
  • Familiarity with skin care and the skin care industry is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of hair care, body care, fragrance, and home categories is a plus.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Successful candidates will be available for a 40-hour work week, including weekends, with flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes evenings and holidays.
