Job Opportunity for Experienced Sr. Scheduler in D&S Consulting

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Project Scheduler/Scheduling Manager to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for you to utilize your expertise in construction scheduling and make a significant impact on large-scale infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction scheduling, with experience in managing project schedules, collaborating with teams, and ensuring project milestones are achieved on time and within scope. A strong foundation in heavy civil/commercial and engineering technology, project control methods, and scheduling software is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules from concept through construction, covering key milestones, critical paths, approvals, and dependencies.
  • Work closely with superintendents, project managers, estimators, procurement staff, and construction managers to synchronize scheduling efforts and align project timelines.
  • Evaluate design changes and schedule slippages, providing timely updates to company management and clients.
  • Use knowledge of project controls to establish critical paths, address project control challenges, and conduct time-impact analysis.
  • Prepare comprehensive progress reports, ensure documentation compliance, and forecast productivity using performance curve data.
  • Act as a scheduling liaison, interfacing with clients, owners, and representatives, and providing clear, statistical progress updates.

Requirements:

  • 5 + years of experience in construction scheduling, preferably in heavy civil/commercial and engineering technology, project control methods, and scheduling software.
  • Proficiency in Primavera (P6) and working knowledge of Excel and other project controls software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience and technical training will also be considered.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with both on-site and office teams.
