Job Summary

ITT Goulds Pumps is seeking a Product Assurance Analyst to join their team in Seneca Falls, NY. The Product Assurance Analyst is responsible for performing QA and/or customer pump inspections, interacting with Union personnel, and resolving problems incurred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform QA final inspections of assembled pump units to factory order requirements.
  • Log inspection results into Excel and SharePoint databases for Quality Engineers to implement Correction Actions.
  • Verify proper documentation from vendors to meet customer requirements.
  • Work with the Scheduler to select rough and finished parts to meet QA requirements.
  • Dimensionally measure finish stock parts when out of tolerance conditions arise.
  • Work with shop personnel and foremen to correct discrepancies on inspection jobs in a timely fashion.
  • Assist shop personnel by obtaining component drawings when discrepancies occur during the build process.
  • Collaborate with the Software QA Auditor to supply missing required QA documentation.
  • Provide pertinent information with supporting photos to QA Engineers for issuance of discrepancies to vendors.
  • Perform Visual Weld inspections.
  • Perform special studies or projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Education: 2-year technical degree or High School Diploma with equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in machine shop and/or assembly build experience.
  • Quality Assurance experience is preferred.
  • Skills/Knowledge: Problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills, team player, good communication skills, customer-focused.
  • PC Skills: AS400, Excel, Word.
  • VT Level II certified is preferred.
