Job Summary

This position is responsible for duties such as cashiering, stocking, ordering, reports, and cleaning. Tobacco Manager provides excellent customer service and assists in maintaining excellent daily store conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Operates a cash register efficiently and performs checkout procedures at or above expected performance standards, including accurate handling and counting of cash, debit cards, credit cards, coupons, and checks.
  • Customer Service: Provides excellent customer service and assists in maintaining excellent daily store conditions.
  • Tobacco Management: Keeps Tobacco looking neat and presentable, including stocking snacks and drinks, sweeping, cleaning counters, changing trash, and cleaning outside as needed.
  • Age Verification: Checks the identification of all customers attempting to purchase tobacco products, ensuring they are 21 years of age or older.
  • Policy Enforcement: Ensures all policies and procedures are being followed and works with the Store Manager on hiring and disciplinary actions.
  • Administrative Tasks: Responsible for timesheets, daily and weekly reports, and ordering.
Qualifications
  • Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrates a customer service orientation and willingness to deal with people daily.
  • Operational Skills: Ability to order, schedule, retail invoices, and ensure accurate billing.
  • Financial Management: Ability to count money and make accurate change.
  • Time Management: Ability to work assigned shifts and arrive to work on time.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, frequently bend, lift, squat, lean, and reach.
  • Background Check: Must successfully complete a background check and drug test.
