Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Operations Supervisor for Painting Services. The primary duty of this position is to guarantee that all painting tasks are executed efficiently, ensuring reliability throughout the process while upholding safety standards and achieving profitability targets.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and engaging individual with a minimum of three years of experience in production management. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, along with proficient presentation and writing skills, are essential. A personal vehicle is required for this role. A college degree and familiarity with the industry are advantageous. Proficiency in English, effective time management skills, and a professional demeanor are mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee that teams are completing projects at or above profitability expectations
  • Manage priority tasks effectively
  • Ensure that both new and existing job-site personnel are trained in production techniques, customer service, and job-site organization
  • Implement and adhere to the CertaPro Production Process
  • Organize and optimize team structures to enhance productivity
  • Clarify job scopes with the Job Site Supervisor (JSS)
  • Review and manage customer needs and expectations
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and job setup
  • Establish completion timelines for projects
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and continuously develop job-site personnel and subcontractor teams
  • Conduct training sessions and review meetings with all JSS
  • Handle hiring and termination of job-site staff and teams
  • Coordinate the Rainy Day Plan (RDP) to maximize crew productivity
  • Address customer complaints promptly and effectively
  • Manage accounts receivable
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Advanced education or technical training is a plus
  • A minimum of three years of experience in production management
  • Preferred industry knowledge
  • Prior supervisory or management experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding customer service abilities
  • Highly organized and self-driven
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
  • Strong computer and internet proficiency
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
