Plastic Surgery Care Specialist Opportunity

Mayo Clinic is a world-renowned leader in healthcare, and we are seeking a skilled Plastic Surgery Care Specialist to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will work collaboratively with a team of physicians, fellows/residents, nurses, and other allied health staff to provide high-quality patient care for adult and pediatric plastic surgery patients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform perioperative care, including pre & postoperative assessments, coordination of patient care, and patient management for a variety of plastic surgery indications.
• Provide comprehensive physical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the clinic setting.
• Work primarily in craniofacial surgery, facial nerve, facial reanimation, head and neck reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, and general reconstruction for adult & pediatric populations.

Requirements:
• Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program, or Accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.
• Current Minnesota RN license and certification, or eligible to be certified, as a FNP, ACNP, or ANP.
