  • Oversee the planning and organization of production schedules, assessing project and resources requirements, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Implement and manage the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program to ensure compliance with food safety and quality requirements.
  • Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance production quality, capacity, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for achieving the company's manufacturing goals.
  • Ensure that all employees follow industry-standard health and safety guidelines.
  • Review worker performance and identify training needs to develop skills and enhance productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including providing regular updates to senior management on production status and issues.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in production management within the manufacturing industry, preferably in food production.
  • Proven experience with SQF, lean manufacturing, and process improvement.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to drive team performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
