We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer PE to join our team at Real Careers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex structural systems for manufacturing and heavy commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review complex engineering calculations and designs for Brown Field projects.
  • Review and mark-up complex drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare and review technical reports and specifications to ensure they meet project requirements.
  • Perform plan-in-hand checks of project documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with project managers and senior management to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience as a Structural Engineer in a manufacturing and/or heavy commercial industry.
  • Professional Engineering License in WV or ability to obtain ASAP.
  • Experience preparing complex engineering calculations and designs for Brown Field projects.
  • Proficiency with applicable Building Codes (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC) and software programs such as AutoCAD and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modeling utilizing REVIT is preferred but not required.
