Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Echo Vascular Technician PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare West. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms, imaging, and dobutamine tests to diagnose cardiac conditions.
  • Transport patients, distribute final reports, and maintain data management systems for echocardiograms.
  • Prepare patients and rooms, and maintain and complete equipment disinfection between patients.
  • Collaborate with other hospital staff to deliver a team approach to patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered in one of the following: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technologist from ARDMS; or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Vascular Specialist from CCI.
  • 1 year of experience in performing echocardiography studies.
  • Current BLS certification.
