Job Title: Laboratory Assistant - PRN

At Memorial Hospital of Laramie County, we are seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine tests and analysis on all specimen types according to established procedures.
  • Evaluate and prioritize samples for testing.
  • Perform routine departmental maintenance, including temperature checks, counter cleaning, and supply inventory.
  • Review and resolve shift pending logs and problem queues for various departments.
  • Utilize the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and network efficiently.
  • Participate in ongoing continuing education to comply with state regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate from an accredited program.
  • Valid USA driver's license.
  • Clean driving record that meets Cheyenne Regional Medical Center's driving guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clinical laboratory experience.
