Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Traveling to various job sites using a company-provided vehicle.
  • Assisting the Construction Materials Testing Manager in meeting financial objectives.
  • Overseeing materials testing projects to ensure compliance with specifications and testing frequency.
  • Conducting proof roll observations and undercuts.
  • Managing fieldwork staff.
  • Providing on-site project management for field testing activities.
  • Reviewing, updating, and approving invoices for ongoing projects on a weekly basis.
  • Developing and managing client projects.
  • Creating and updating project proposals and reports.
  • Documenting detailed daily field activities and reporting findings to clients and supervisors.
  • Maintaining daily communication with technicians, contractors, and other project managers.
  • Communicating effectively with various field personnel and colleagues.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) Certification.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
