Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at PrideStaff. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in accounting and a strong background in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end close processes, including bank and credit reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Enter vendor bills and generate customer invoices.
  • Generate checks and process ACH payments.
  • Submit deposits and record them.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making and business planning.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Provide expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Manage and process payroll using Paylocity, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop for financial management.
  • Proficiency in using Paylocity for payroll processing preferred.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and healthcare industry regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Benefits:

  • Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
