Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients. This role involves monitoring, interpreting, and intervening for patients with cardiac arrhythmias, in collaboration with the medical team.
The nurse will implement nursing techniques aimed at ensuring patient comfort and well-being, adhering to the hospital's policies and objectives through a systematic nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Key responsibilities include preparing medical equipment and assisting physicians during patient examinations and treatments. The nurse will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide care that is appropriate for various age groups and developmental stages, in line with unit-specific standards.
Additionally, the Registered Nurse will mentor and supervise Patient Care Assistants, ensuring comprehensive nursing care for multiple patients.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Basic Arrhythmia skills
- Preferred completion of a Telemetry/Critical Care course
- Proficient computer skills
- Effective communication skills in English
