Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee construction initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Track project milestones and implement necessary adjustments to adhere to schedules.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects, including budget forecasting and expense monitoring.
  • Collaborate with design professionals and engineers to facilitate project success.
  • Address and resolve challenges that may arise during the construction phase.
  • Provide ongoing updates and reports to key stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team of construction experts.
  • Establish project-specific protocols, documentation, and contracts.
  • Foster relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in operations management is essential.
  • Experience with Job Order Contracting is a must.
  • Familiarity with construction projects in the metropolitan area is required.
  • Experience working with public agencies is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients concurrently.
  • Experience with Unit Price contracts or similar projects in the public sector is necessary.
  • Candidates should have a background with local contractors focusing on smaller projects or renovations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
