Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Channel ABA is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in providing clinical oversight and guidance in the delivery of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments to identify underlying factors contributing to challenging behaviors and skill deficits.
  • Analyze assessment data to develop a clear understanding of the client's needs, strengths, and areas for intervention.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, including evidence-based interventions and clearly outlined behavior reduction and skill acquisition goals.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team, including behavior technicians and other professionals, to ensure proper implementation of the strategies and interventions outlined in the treatment plan.
  • Provide training and supervision to ensure fidelity of treatment implementation and adherence to best practices.
  • Regularly collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make data-driven decisions to modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Monitor client progress, track behavior change, and adjust interventions to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach.
Requirements:
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of behavior analytic principles, methodologies, and interventions.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals.
  • Ability to administer and interpret a variety of skills-based assessments, such as VBMAPP, PEAK, AFLS, and ABLLS-R.
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
  • Experience with online data collection programs preferred.
  • Ability to provide effective supervision, training, and support to staff members.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and professionals.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of ABA.
