Gas Pipeline Maintenance Specialist

As a Gas Pipeline Maintenance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our gas pipeline network. Your primary responsibility will be to operate the machines required to trench for natural gas pipelines, while maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, checking oil and fluids levels.
- Load trucks safely and securely.
- Monitor pipe laying for potential safety hazards.
- Dig around live utilities, both underground and overhead.
- Install natural gas pipelines in trenches and provide adequate backfill.
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Current and valid Class A CDL.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Operator Qualification.
- DOT Certified Flagger.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
