Job Overview:
This role oversees and/or performs specialty pipeline services with or without a crew, ensuring work is compliant with safety standards. The successful candidate will manage field operations with a focus on safety, compliance, efficiency, cost management, and innovation. They will ensure company procedures are followed and compliance is maintained relative to all applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform specialty pipeline activities with minimal supervision.
- Take lead on pipeline projects and work effectively in a team setting.
- Complete required paperwork, daily timesheets, and real-time project data collection.
- Assist in training fellow crew members in accordance with company safety policies.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors performing work in the field.
- Ensure daily operations align with job specifications and customer requirements, maintaining construction progress in line with the overall project schedule and cost estimate.
- Drive safety with attention to changing project conditions.
- Conduct on-site project reviews and design plans.
- Oversee all work to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.
- Maintain, load, set up, and mobilize large equipment.
- Travel to locations throughout the United States as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds and use basic power/hand tools.
- Knowledge of gas pipeline construction.
- Experience as a gas laborer, gas operator, or foreman.
- Knowledge of gas installation and replacement experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills.
- Attention to detail, organization skills, and management skills.
- Working knowledge of computer and mobile devices.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must pass a background check.
