Job Summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a highly skilled and certified Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of our wastewater plant, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, and adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plant, including water testing, data recording, and computer skills.
  • Monitor and control plant operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Record and report plant operations, maintenance, and any issues or concerns to supervisors and management.
  • Collaborate with other operations team members to ensure seamless plant operations and maintenance.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting equipment, and performing repairs as needed.
Requirements:
  • Class C License in Wastewater Treatment preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to lift or carry 50 pounds and work in confined areas.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and handle potentially hazardous chemicals.
  • Excellent communication and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
