Position: CT Imaging Specialist

Department: Computerized Tomography (CT)

Shift Schedule: Late Night Shift 23:00 - 07:30, Monday to Friday

  • Utilizing advanced computerized tomography machinery to obtain diagnostic images of patients' internal structures.
  • Positioning patients accurately to focus on designated areas of their anatomy.
  • Conducting preliminary warm-up procedures on the CT imaging equipment.
  • Ensuring the sterilization of radiologic instruments.
  • Interpreting the scanning directives provided by physicians.
  • Administering radiocontrast substances to improve image clarity.
  • Assessing the quality of CT images produced.
  • Communicating scanning processes effectively to patients.

Qualifications Required:

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Familiarity with National Institutes of Health (NIH) protocols
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • In-depth understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Capability to remain on feet for prolonged durations
  • Strong technical proficiency
  • Commitment to exceptional patient care
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a CT Technician
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiology Tech/CT Tech program
  • Active and unencumbered state license as a CT Technician
  • One year of experience with Epic systems
  • ARRT Certification

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Completion of COVID vaccination, including two shots and a booster
