Pediatric Diabetes Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Diabetes Educator to join our dynamic team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a key member of our ambulatory care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in the ambulatory setting.
  • Provide clinical leadership for staff and serve as a role model.
  • Provide full range of patient education to patients and family members.
  • Assume relief charge duties, when designated.

Requirements:

  • Program Graduate
  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM

Working Conditions:

  • Med Haz: Mod exposure to chemicals/dangerous equip/materials
