Steel Fabricator/Fitter Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fabricator/Fitter to join our team at the Steel Erectors Association. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural welding and the ability to read blueprints and program machines manually.

Responsibilities:

* Fabricate and assemble steel components using various mechanical operations, including drilling, milling, tapping, and plasma cutting
* Work with a team of welders to finalize assemblies and ensure high-quality results
* Read and build from prints and shop drawings with a high degree of accuracy
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements:

* Minimum of 3-5 years of architectural welding experience preferred
* Strong knowledge of welding processes and mechanical operations
* Ability to self-manage and manage others
* High school diploma or equivalent required

Compensation:

* $27.00 per hour
