REQUIREMENTS:
Seeking a proficient Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting.
Certification or Registration is essential.
CPR certification through AHA is required.
Responsibilities include rooming patients and monitoring vital signs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collecting specimens and performing data entry in EMR systems such as Medconnect/IDX.
- Assisting with in-office procedures and managing patient flow.
- Supporting the clinical team to ensure efficient patient care.
- Participating in daily team meetings to prepare for patient visits.
- Conducting screenings for preventative care and addressing patient needs.
- Engaging in motivational interviews related to disease management and community outreach.
- Identifying behavioral health needs using appropriate screening tools and communicating findings to the provider.
