Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operate slitting machinery, including performing measurement calculations.
  • Select materials and tools according to the job bill of materials.
  • Inspect mother reels prior to processing.
  • Prepare and maintain slitting reel log sheets.
  • Collaborate with the forming team to achieve production targets.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards for machinery and work areas.
  • Conduct quality checks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure the machine is adequately supplied with materials, utilizing material handling equipment as necessary.
  • Document and track downtime, including duration, reasons, and corrective actions taken.
  • Manage waste and scrap levels within company guidelines.
  • Identify and report manufacturing issues, initiating corrective actions when required.
  • Adhere to EHS, Quality, and GMP standards consistently.
  • Train team members as directed by supervisors.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives as promoted by the company.
  • Uphold high-quality standards and support food safety and quality systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards set by Seda.

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
