Outpatient Obstetrician-Gynecologist

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our team in the outpatient setting. As a clinician, you will provide high-quality patient care and educate medical students in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:- Deliver outpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology services with no on-call responsibilities, working 4 days a week.
- Participate in the Clinical Outcomes Program and contribute to meeting organizational targets for all metrics.
- Maintain productivity expectations for time spent in practice.
- Perform administrative duties, including reviewing lab reports, charts, and medication refills.
- Follow medical practice policies and procedures, including attending mandatory meetings and practicing medicine in a cost-effective manner.
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely, adhering to department standards and electronic medical record requirements.
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Nurses and Midwives in the Family Health Clinic, performing biannual chart reviews.
- Manage the education of medical students rotating through the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service.
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date educational curriculum for Ob/Gyn Medical Student rotations.
- Monitor learning areas within the inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Work collaboratively with the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Director and Designated Institutional Officer to maintain educational standards.
- Participate in training and education for medical students through didactics, simulations, and mentoring.
- Work a total of 50 hours per week, divided between clinical and medical student responsibilities.
- Outpatient practice responsibilities: 4 days a week.
- Medical Student Education: 1 day a week.
- Patient services and relationship-building skills.
- Discretion and bedside manner.
- Verbal communication and listening skills.
- Analyzing information and decision-making abilities.
- Documentation and educational skills.
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in New Jersey.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Minimum 2 years of practice experience in primary/outpatient Ob/Gyn care.
- FQHC or HIS clinic setting experience preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certificate required.
- Current DEA and CDS certificates.
