We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Anesthesia Specialist to join our team at AMN Healthcare. This role is essential for providing high-quality anesthesia care in a hospital setting, focusing exclusively on cardiac procedures.

Position Details:
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday with weekend on-call duties; typical surgical hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A 6:30 AM arrival is required for a 7:00 AM start when block scheduling is necessary.
  • Commitment: Candidates must be available for a minimum of two full weeks each month for at least three consecutive months.

Work Environment:
This position is set within a hospital, focusing solely on cardiac cases. The role requires proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Epic.

Qualifications:
Applicants must hold the following certifications:
  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) certification
  • Active State License

Credentialing:
The credentialing process is expected to take approximately two months.
