Key Responsibilities:

  • Document adherence to care protocols and quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Foster a safe working environment while accurately billing for services rendered.
  • Prepare comprehensive patient care reports and uphold medication safety standards.
  • Respond swiftly to emergency situations and lead during critical incidents.
  • Execute a variety of therapeutic procedures as required by patient conditions.
  • Engage in staff training and departmental initiatives.
  • Guide new team members and support their professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in an ICU environment.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to work extended shifts, assist patients, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to manage biohazardous materials and other workplace hazards.
  • Professional demeanor, attire, and conduct are essential.
