Job Summary:
Soliant is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to work with middle and high school students in a local Education Service District. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy and be passionate about working with students with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and/or language therapy to students identified with communication disorders.
- Maintain accurate service records of students on caseload.
- Evaluate students with suspected communication disorders and make recommendations for speech and language services as needed.
- Develop comprehensive written reports of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within state guidelines.
- Develop speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs.
- Develop integrated goals with other education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities.
- Consult with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development.
- Participate in the Medicaid billing process for school-based services.
Requirements:
- Oregon SLP license.
