Middle and High School Speech-Language Pathologist Position in Portland OR

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy and be passionate about working with students with complex needs.

The successful candidate will work with middle and high school students in the metro Portland area, providing speech and language therapy services as needed. The caseload will be discussed in further detail during an interview with administrators.

The duties of this position include:

  • Providing speech and/or language therapy to students identified with communication disorders
  • Maintaining accurate service records of students on caseload
  • Evaluating students with suspected communication disorders; making recommendations for speech and language services as needed
  • Providing comprehensive written reports of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within state guidelines
  • Developing speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs
  • Developing integrated goals with other education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities
  • Consulting with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development, or other areas of curriculum related to speech and language
  • Participating in the Medicaid billing process for school-based services as directed

We are looking for a professional and accountable individual who is flexible and solution-oriented, collaborative, and well-organized and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will have an Oregon SLP license and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
