About the Job

We are seeking a talented Registered Nurse to join our team at Carilion Clinic, where you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, patient, and family to develop, implement, and evaluate an interdisciplinary plan of care that promotes patient safety and quality outcomes.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently, utilizing automated computer systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: A graduate of a professional nursing program from an accredited college or eligibility to sit for the VA licensure exam.
  • Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure, with CPR certification and ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications as needed.
  • Other: Computer skills required for electronic medical records (EPIC) and successful completion of orientation and competency requirements.
