As a Cafe Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food products are available to our members. Your passion for food preparation and service will shine through in every interaction, making our members feel valued and satisfied.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare food according to item specifications, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
- Customer Service: Provide fast and friendly service to our members, listening to their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications and ensure seamless operations.
- Inventory Management: Ensure shelves are clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products.
- Adaptability: Be comfortable with change and quickly adapt to different work scenarios, leveraging digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.
What You'll Do:
- Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with the team.
- Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications, understand and plan future productions, and adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date control standards, and eliminating waste.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Be a brand advocate, develop, influence, and inspire others to work in a style that is respectful, supportive, and team-oriented.
