Job Title: Endoscopy Technician

At St. Charles Health System, we are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our endoscopy department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment, supplies, and instruments.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the medical team.
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient procedures and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • ASGE Endoscopy Technician certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • One year of experience in a medical environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
