Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator

Stanford University's Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting clinical research and working independently on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage significant aspects of a large study or all aspects of one or more small research studies
  • Develop and manage systems to organize, collect, report, and monitor data collection
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret data
  • Formally supervise, train, and/or mentor new staff or students
  • Audit operations to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience in clinical research
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database applications (Redcap, etc)
  • Experience with research protocols and regulatory or governing bodies
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Society of Clinical Research Associates or Association of Clinical Research Professionals certification
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and timelines. The position may require occasional sitting, reaching above shoulders, and performing desk-based computer tasks. Rarely, the employee may be required to kneel, crawl, climb ladders, grasp forcefully, sort and file paperwork or parts, or lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh 40 pounds or more.
