MRI Equipment Service Engineer

Position Summary:
The MRI Equipment Service Engineer will be responsible for executing all necessary service documentation, including maintenance of magnetic resonance imaging systems; conducting inspections of MRI apparatus, cleaning components, and maintaining records of all MRI units housed in the facility. This role supports the organizational mission by aiding in the setup and dismantling of MRI systems while providing both technical and logistical assistance across the company. Furthermore, the engineer will deliver on-site and remote service support for assigned equipment and clients as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, cleaning, packaging, and documentation of MRI system parts
- Assist in the maintenance of magnetic components
- Perform general cleaning in equipment refurbishment areas
- Inventory MRI systems prior to dispatch
- Prepare MRI systems for transportation, ensuring proper packaging and labeling
- Support maintenance of chillers and other essential equipment
- Assist with the mechanical and electrical aspects of MRI system setups
- Provide support for system installations, relocations, and technical assistance as needed
- Contribute to company-wide initiatives, including the upkeep of the Quality Management System
Qualifications:
Required:
- A background in servicing MRI Equipment is essential
- Willingness to be on call, including weekends and holidays
Preferred:
- An Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or military training in electronics, or equivalent certified training or experience with electronic equipment
