Responsibilities:

Position Summary:


In alignment with the mission and values of CommonSpirit Health, the Radiologic Technologist is tasked with executing a range of radiographic, fluoroscopic, and specialized imaging procedures at a technical level that does not necessitate constant oversight, under the general guidance of a radiologist and radiology management.

Individuals in this role are expected to adhere to all relevant regulations and standards, including those set forth by CommonSpirit Health. They should seek clarification when uncertain and promptly report any potential or suspected breaches of conduct or policy.

When necessary, the technologist will contribute to risk assessment efforts and collaborate with leadership to implement, monitor, and improve risk management strategies as outlined by the Compliance program.


Qualifications:

Minimum:


Completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program recognized by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the relevant health authorities is required.

AHA Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Diagnostic Radiology certification (CRT) is required. A letter from ARRT confirming successful exam completion may be accepted in lieu of the Diagnostic certificate for a limited period.

Fluoroscopy and venipuncture certification must be obtained within six months of employment.

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST (CT RTT); RADIOLOGIC HEALTH FLUOROSCOPY (RG RHF) certification is required within 90 days of hire; BASIC LIFE SUPPORT-AHA (CT CPRBLS); ARRT certification is also necessary.


Preferred:
RADIOLOGIC HEALTH MAMMOGRAPHY (RG RHM) certification is advantageous.
