Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at i-Health Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures, patient teaching, and assisting with patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate expertise in radiological equipment and safety, shielding techniques, and imaging skills.
  • Circulate and scrub during procedures, patient teaching, and assisting with patient care within scope of practice.
  • Analyze and record equipment and other equipment utilized in the IR department.
  • Identify adverse events or unanticipated outcomes using critical thinking skills and notify medical staff accordingly.
  • Practice Radiation Safety in accordance with regulations.
  • Assist VIE Manager with accurate data collection, documentation, and data entry for compliance.
  • Maintain documentation and records, staff competencies, and monitor technical quality indicators as required by accreditation standards.
  • Perform specialty equipment troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance as indicated or instructed by vendor or clinical engineering.
  • Analyze and assist in resolving problems resulting in improvement of patient care, practice, and system operations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program.
  • RT(R) required; RT(VI), RT(CV), or RT(CT), preferred.
  • Experience as an interventional technologist preferred.
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred.
